A reoccurring beauty trend of the Oscars was the side part, soft curls and tuck behind the ears.

We didn’t see the typical focus on eyes or lips at the Marc Jacobs show. Instead the makeup was heavy on the cheeks for a warm glow.

Typically big fans of Charlize Theron; we really think she missed the mark with this Dior dress

In this approach to the smoky eye models were meant to look as though they had partied all night.

We saw deliberate fly-aways on the likes of Jennifer Lopes, Miley Cyrus, Zoe Saldana and Sarah Jessica Parker.

You may think a tux is a tux is a tux…but when it comes to the men at the Oscars its all in the details. Tom Ford looked dashing and I loved the magnolia that seemed to be made of paper.  Jake Gyllenhaal was classic with a slightly smaller bow tie. Christopher Plumber stole the show in my book. His navy tux jacket and red pocket scarf made him every bit the leading man. Taylor Lautner’s skinny shawl collar tux was a great update on a classic style.

Twenty-seven-year-old Miodrag Mejdina was hired to ferry Campbell from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to a photo studio in Queens in a Cadillac Escalade (not a taxi as previously reported). He told cops yesterday that Campbell became furious, and just before they got to the Queensboro Bridge, slapped and hit him from the backseat, knocking his head against the steering wheel.
