Halloween Party on a Budget

With Halloween being my favorite holiday I am always looking for new & fun ways to celebrate. While most of us are cutting back on our disposable income spending (myself included) I had to get super creative with my Halloween party plans on a budget. For decorations instead of buying pre-made streamers and ordering balloons which can add up, try making you own garland out of a bag of candy corn and a spool of thread. At the end of the party this decor can come in handy for snacking! Another fun idea for mood lighting float your candles in water with red food coloring to give off a spooky vibe for a table display. Serving multiple appetizers or ordering in can get expensive, make simple cheaper treats including PB&Js dipped in orange and black sprinkles for a fun twist and bowls of candy to remind us all of the good’ol days of trick or treating. As far as beverages go include BYOB on the invite, then everyone will have what they want and you can have pumpkins cut open filled with ice prepared for your guests when they arrive instead of a boring cooler. I hope these ideas will help you keep your party on budget and on point for your Halloween weekend!
