SAVE STANDARD – SHOP LOCAL
by Ryan Strong on July 1st, 2009 in Lifestyle

SAVE STANDARD sale kicks off today at 9 am sharp! Clients who get in line before noon on Wednesday receive an additional 10% off their purchase. The sale has all spring and summer styles from the top designers at 30-85% off. This is Standard’s annual summer surplus sales event that has drawn huge crowds for the great deals on product for men and women. Getting there early has been key as its a fun grab and shop environment.
The idea behind SAVE STANDARD was similar to the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day off where the entire school campaigns to SAVE FERRIS. So, Standard decided to make a push on the local side of the business and chose SAVE STANDARD Shop Local.
Standard Style believes in the local community and supporting the roots of locally owned concepts, businesses, and creativity. In order to promote these places and people Standard is launching a new promotion for fall “BUILD KANSAS CITY – SHOP LOCAL” which will kick off Wednesday morning at 9 am. This campaign will grow through the next few months with ads, marketing, short films, and branding for locally owned concepts. T-shirts with the slogan will be available for sale in a small run only at both Standard Style locations.
