Aviator sunglasses have had a sort of rennessiance in the past 5 years. The classically cool eyewear that was a fixture for those actually aviating is a must for any guy during the summer months, but before you dive bomb into this look here are a few tips:

• Gold, silver, or black frames. Period.
• These are the perfect sunglasses for a road trip, light weight and meant to be worn for extended periods of time.
• Ray-Ban is always a safe bet, beyond the classic look they also sport a pilot grade lens.
• Speaking of lenses there should be two of them, leave the mono lenses for Kanye West.
• Remember, classic is the word. You’ll look effortlessly and classically cool in an understated pair of aviators, a fitted button up, and a slim fit khaki.

Summer is the season of shades and you’d be hard pressed to find a more stylishly masculine frame than the classic aviator. While these are tips I fully endorse, remember nothing looks cooler than confidence (not cockiness, confidence). So be you, just don’t wear your sunglasses at night. Deal?
